The British standard PVC cable is a low voltage flexible power supply control cable. It is also used in portable tools and small indoor electrical instruments but are generally unsuitable for outdoor use. The cable features a PVC insulation with a PVC outer sheath and are available in 2, 3, 4 or 5 core, black or white. The flexible cables, coded 218*Y, and 318*Y are 300/500 volts.
